In Division 3B on Friday night Derrytresk made it three wins from three with a 2-21 to 0-16 victory at Errigal Ciaran III. Liam Slater sent the visitors on their way with a penalty goal after only twenty seconds and they never looked back. Caolan Corr got their second major on a night when Odhran Hughes, Slater, Eoin McNally, Niall Gavin, Ultan McKee and Cathal O’Neill all featured among the points.
Ryan Lynch was in fine form for the Dunmoyle based side with 0-11 to his name while Davy Harte weighed in with three points as well.
Tattyreagh are another side with a maximum return from tree outings after they made home advantage count against Brackaville. Keelan McvDonagh top scored for the home side with 0-7 while Peadar Mullan got 1-3 with Stevie Girvan and Eoin McGinn both finding the net and Eoin McGrath and Niall Murray hitting a brace of points each.
Ronan McHugh top scored for the Roes with 0-9 with Dale McSorley and Conor Stock getting 0-5 between them but it wasn’t enough to prevent their first defeat of the campaign.
Clann na Gael were another side who experienced defeat for the first time when they lost a home to Omagh IIIs in a high scoring encounter, 3-21 to 2-16. Ciaran McArdle was in fine form for the St.Endas with 1-6 to his name, Ryan McGarvey got half a dozen points while Manus Doyle and Ciaran Lagan hit 1-1 each.
Clann na nGael led by seven points at one stage but couldn’t sustain it. Robbie Conway and Dan Houston were their goal scorers with Shea Browne hitting six points and Ciaran Kerlin getting three.
Killyman broke their duck with a 2-14 to 0-18 win at home to Brocagh. Killyman trailed by five points at the break but fought back to get a richly deserved win with Shea Gates 1-5 and Enda McGahan 1-4 leading the charge with Eamon Donnelly weighing in with a brace of points as well. Barry Donnelly landed seven points for the Emmets with Mickey Hughes getting four.
Urney were another side to get their first points on the board when they defeated Donaghmore IIIs 3-18 to 2-12 away from home. Sean McGowan 2-2, Conor McDaid 1-4, Sean Hughe 0-5 and Kyle Henry 0-3 were all to the fore in the scoring stakes for the St.Columbas with Nathan Toner and Pat McAteer raising green flags for the hosts with Sean McCaul and PG O’Neill providing points.
