The Tyrone Minor Championship Grade One Final scheduled to take place tomorrow (Sunday) between Omagh and Carrickmore has been postponed.
It followed a request to the County Board from the St Enda’s Club after they received ‘updated medical advice’ in respect of a number of its minor footballers.
In a statement released on Saturday evening by the Omagh Executive Committee the club stated: ” In the interests of public safety, child protection and potential mental health concerns, and after having consulted GAA Covid 19 guidance and the medical advice provided to us, our club has decided that it would not be safe to participate in tomorrow’s game”.
The match has been refixed for next Saturday at 3pm in Killyclogher.
