A REPEAT of last season’s Tyrone Senior Championship Final between champions Trillick and Errigal Ciaran is the stand-out tie in the opening round of fixtures in Division One of the 2024 Tyrone All-County Leagues.
The three Divsions in the ACL (at Senior and Reserve level) are set to get underway in May, with the matches to be played on Friday nights, as has become the popular custom over the last few years.
The meeting of the 2023 double winners Trillick and Errigal at Donnelly Park will attract most attention on Day One, while other eye-catching opening round clashes include Killyclogher at home to newly-promoted Clonoe, Omagh away to last season’s Intermediate champions Pomeroy; and the derby match up between Donaghmore and Dungannon.
Meanwhile on the first evening of games in Division Two Fintona, the 2023 Junior champions, welcome Greencastle to St Lawrence’s Park; Drumragh, fresh from their promotion, travel to Moy; and near neighbours Gortin and Owen Roes lock horns.
In Divsion Three Strabane begin their quest for a quick return to the second tier at home to Derrytresk; while Clann na nGael host Augher; Aghaloo welcome Tattyreagh; and Killeeshil head north to tackle Urney.
