ST MACARTANS made it a perfect ten on Saturday when they retained the Tyrone Senior Ladies Football League title with a 1-12 to 1-03 victory over Errigal Ciaran to lift the coveted crown for the 10th year in a row.

It was the Dunmoyle girls who opened the scoring when Maria Canavan fired over, but Chloe McCaffrey responded with two of her own to put the Macs in front.

Maria Canavan responded with her team’s second free before McCaffrey knocked over anotehr two scores.

Niamh McGirr then got on the scoreboard with a point before Joline Donaghy added to her team’s tally.

Errigal came back with a goal from Shannon Cunningham and another point from Canavan to send the teams off at the break level at 0-6 to 1-3.

That was as good as it was to get for Errigal, however, as they failed to register another score for the entire second half as the Macs ran away with the decider to claim a tenth title in a row.

Tara O Hagan scored a point from a free before McCaffrey dispatched a penalty after the Errigal goalkeeper pulled Paula Donnelly down.
