A maintenance worker killed in a tragic work accident in a meat processing factory in Dungannon on Thursday morning has been named as Allister Kelly.
Chair of Mid Ulster Council said, Paul McLean said his “thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of Allister Kelly who died in an incident at Linden Foods, as they deal with the sudden loss of a loved one”.
The accident happened at Linden Foods at Granville Industrial Estate at around 8am.
Inspectors from the Health and Safety Executive have been carrying out an investigation in the circumstances of the tragedy.
