AN award-winning photographer, who hails from Omagh, will soon be showcasing his works at the Strule Arts Centre in October.
Titled ‘Living Life in A Wild World’, the exhibition is set to launch on Thursday, October 3, commencing at 7pm.
Born and educated in Omagh, Aidan is an award-winning photographer, screenwriter, filmmaker, and travel blogger,
He studied ‘Creative Media Production’ at South West College, before achieving his Foundation Degree in Digital Arts and Technologies, where his interest in street and documentary photography first began.
Aidan progressed to the BSC Cinematic Arts course at Ulster University, graduating in 2019 with first class honours.
He continues to work in the fields of photography and film. His work is displayed internationally, in a European museum, and locally as part of the civic art collection. Aidan continues to follow his passion for photography and is delighted to present his first solo exhibition.
Speaking to the UlsterHerald, Aidan said, “My interest in photography started whenever I was younger; attending weddings or when I was on holidays. I would be snapping anything and everything.
“To me, photography is a form of peace and serenity. Being out with nature, enjoying the sound of the wildlife, the colours of plant life…
“It’s about that sense of adventure; narrating that story from the images you capture..”
