During this period, customers can continue to have immediate and free access to over 24,000 eBooks and eAudiobooks, 3,400 eMagazines and 300 English language eNewspapers and many more in 60 other languages through the online library.

Customers can join online and use these services by becoming a virtual member via the Libraries NI website www.librariesni.org.uk.

Libraries NI chief executive, Jim O’Hagan said, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their continued support and it has been encouraging to see so many people back in libraries throughout what has been a challenging year.

“So, on behalf of all Libraries NI staff, I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
