Local primary school in All-Ireland Schools Quiz Final

Pupils from St. Teresa’s Primary School, Loughmacrory will be taking part in the Irish League of Credit Union All-Ireland Schools Quiz Final on Sunday in Dublin. 

The annual competition is the biggest All-Ireland Quiz in the country with up to 100 teams participating and pupils from schools across Chapter 17 displayed a high standard of answering with a wide range of knowledge demonstrated by all teams.

The Irish League of Credit Union schools quiz stimulates and encourages young minds to expand their general knowledge and helps to teach young people essential team-working skills. Every year there is great participation from the schools in our Parish and is thoroughly enjoyed by all the children.

They will be representing Termonmaguirk Credit Union who made a recent donation to the team and school.

A spokesperson for the credit union said, “The Board of Directors, Supervisors and Staff of Termonmaguirk Credit Union would like to express our sincerest thanks to the Principal, teachers, pupils and families of the team and wish them the very best of luck in the final on Sunday and also to all the schools for their participation.”
