Record-breaking road race raises £15,000

Members of the Lough 5 organising committee presented cheques to representatives from Friendly Care Group Termonmaguirc and Termonmaguirc Cancer Patients Fund.

The 2023 Lough 5, which is an annual five-mile road race in Loughmacrory, broke records with a massive £15,000 raised, which was split evenly between the two charities. Chair, Anne Logue, said, “Last year’s Lough 5 was just amazing. We can’t thank our sponsors enough, all the people who helped out and all those who took part. They all made it such a special event.”
