Intimate and Irish is what a new September festival planned for Bundoran promises those desperate for some live music.
Brought to you from the team behind Sea Sessions the new ‘September Sessions’, is a series of five concerts set to take place in Bundoran next week. The autumn gigs have been introduced after the popular June Sea Sessions concerts were cancelled for the last two summers.
Set on a cliff top in the grounds of The Great Northern Hotel, September Sessions features a brilliant line up including Gavin James, The Coronas, Lyra, Bell X1, Moncrieff, Royseven, Róisín O, Thumper and much more.
The gigs will run from September 14 to 19 with the intimate covered outdoor concerts having a limited capacity of 200 per show.
The sessions kick off next Tuesday, September 14 with Lyra, Moncrieff, and Michael Moloney; Wednesday, September 15 sees the affable Gavin James, Royseven, and Brad Heidi take to the stage.
The incredible BellX1, will perform on Thursday night, along with Thumper, and N.O.A.H, before the mighty Coronas take to the stages for two nights in a row.
They will be joined on both nights by Róisón O, on Saturday, September 18 by Eimear Crehan and on Sunday by The Zen Arcade.
Speaking following the September Sessions announcement, promoter Ray O’Donoghue said,
“We are really grateful that we can operate this series of outdoor gigs with the help of the department of arts and culture. “The line-up of acts and the set-up will be second to none and with a limited capacity of only 200 tickets per show it will sell out fast. “All the same it will be great to see some amazing artists and crew back doing what they do best. We can’t wait,” he added.
Showcasing beautiful music in an incredible setting September Sessions is one not to be missed.
