AN 11-year-old boy has been rescued after falling down a manhole at a petrol station forecourt in Dungannon.
The incident happened shortly before 7pm this evening (Wednesday).
Emergency crews rushed to the scene of the incident, which occurred near The Oaks Centre.
An NI Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed to WeAreTyrone that an 11-year-old male had fallen down a manhole to the rear of the forecourt, with the 999 call coming in at 6.50pm.
Two crews were in attendance and used a ladder and breathing equipment to reach the youngster who was trapped in two foot of water at at the bottom.
It is understood he sustained minor injuries.
