FOUR homes in a brand new social housing development in the Omagh area, funded by the Department for Communities, have been handed over to delighted tenants.
Provided by Apex Housing Association, the houses on Ballinamullan Road are located on the outskirts of Omagh, but within easy reach of the town centre.
Nicola Judge and her son Alex are very excited to be moving into their new home.
Nicola said, “I’m looking forward to moving into the house with my son and knowing that I’ve got a future home for the both of us. I love that the house is brand new and that we can make it our own. The location on the outskirts of town means we’ll have peace and quiet and will be able to enjoy some beautiful scenery whilst out walking with our dog.”
Theirs is one of four homes in the development, funded by the Department for Communities and delivered through the Northern Ireland Executive.
Laura Maguire, from Apex Housing Association, said, “We are delighted that we’ve been able to provide these new homes in Omagh, where there continues to be a demand for social housing.”
