Man arrested following Omagh drug raid

A HAUL of class A, B and C drugs have been seized by police in Omagh, and a 26-year-old man has been arrested.

Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit assisted by District Support Unit officers conducted a search today in the Omagh area under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

During their search they discovered a quantity of drugs were found.

Detective Sergeant Monaghan said, “A quantity of Class A, B and C drugs were seized from the Crevenagh Road area at approximately 10.35am this morning, Wednesday January 19. A 26-year-old male was subsequently arrested and is currently assisting Police with their enquiries.”
