Police are treating an incident in which a council boundary sign was damaged as a ‘sectarian hate crime’.
The PSNI have are appealed for witnesses after the report of criminal damage being caused to council boundary signs on the Aghafad Road, Omagh on Friday.
Constable Bradley said, “It is understood the criminal damage occurred around 9.30am this morning, Friday, between Fintona and Clogher.
We are appealing for anyone who might have information which may assist the investigation to contact detectives at Omagh station on 101 quoting reference number 351 of the 26/03/21. We are treating this incident as a sectarian hate crime.”
