Security alert ongoing in Coalisland

A suspicious object has sparked a security alert in Coalisland on Monday morning.

“Police are in attendance at a security alert in Derryvale Park outside Coalisland following the discovery of a suspicious object in the area,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

“Police are at the scene and a number of cordons have been put in place.”
