Double act take the reins at Errigal Ciaran

ADRIAN O’Donnell and Mark Harte’s management journey is continuing at their native Errigal Ciaran this season – and O’Donnell says that they are “delighted” to take the reins at the club where they experienced many successful days together as players.

O’Donnell and Harte have tasted success at a number of clubs since entering the world of management together – most prominently, winning a senior championship title with Fermanagh club Roslea in 2014 and masterminding Pomeroy’s memorable run to the Ulster Intermediate title in 2016.

But taking the mantle at Errigal Ciaran is undoubtedly their most exciting challenge yet, and their new management team is relishing the prospect of managing the seven-time Tyrone Senior Championship winners.

O’Donnell said: “Both Mark and I were delighted to be asked to manage our senior team. We’re both very proud clubmen and enjoyed our playing times with Errigal immensely, both the good times and the not-so-good.

“We tried to learn as much as we possibly could from all the players we played with and the managers we played under.

“We’re acutely aware of the ambition within the club, and indeed the squad, and the management team is very much looking forward to working with the players.”
