Just two F&W top flight teams left with 100 per cent record

JUST two weeks into the new Fermanagh and Western League season and just two Division One teams still have a 100 per cent record!

That’s Ryan Campbell’s NFC Kesh, who on Saturday defeated Tummery Athletic 4-1 to back up their opening day victory at Augher Stars and an Enniskillen Town United side which opened their season with a 3-2 win over Lisbellaw United.

This weekend Ryan Hanna’s Town host Beragh Swifts, who have drawn both their opening games while Kesh have a free Saturday.

At Strathroy Road, Benny Boyle’s Harps host a Killen Rangers outfit still searching for a first win.

Harps have four points after a draw at Tummery and a 2-1 victory against Dergview Reserves and with home advantage will be out to heap further pain on the defending champions, who have taken just one point from a possible six.

Elsewhere Ballinamallard United Reserves visit Augher Stars while Darren Higginbotham’s Enniskillen Rangers entertain Magheraveely, two teams who have drawn both their opening games.

In Division Two the game of the day should be the north Tyrone derby between Newtown United and Ardstraw at Vaughan’s Holm while the pick of the fixtures in Division Three could be the meeting of Dunbreen Rovers and Lisnaskea Rovers at Youth Sport Omagh.

Drumquin United v Ekn Galaxy; Dunbreen Rvrs v Lisnaskea Rovers; St Pat’s v Ekn Rovers.
