A MIXED run of results combined with injuries has ensured a shaky start to this unique 2020 season for a Tattyreagh team just down from the top flight.
Three defeats have provided concern for the team manager, Martin McNulty, and the players. But, with a championship clash against Strabane to look forward to this weekend, there is also a renewed focus.
It will be a special occasion in many ways, of course, for their team manager. Afterall, he will be very familiar with Strabane, their talents and perhaps the areas which could be exploited as the race for Paddy Cullen Cup glory gets underway.
But, according to the St Patrick’s manager, the main thing is that they go out and make the most of this opportunity.
“There can be no argument with the results and the reality is that the teams that defeated us were superior on the day. Each of those games was tight at times, but you have to move on,” he said.
