A BERAGH family has lost everything they own after a fire destroyed their recently-refurbished home on New Year’s Eve.
Paddy Donnelly, his wife Deirdre and three of their four children fled from the property with just seconds to spare before the blaze took hold.
They had to watch from the roadside as their home and possessions were destroyed in the fire, which
ripped through the property shortly before 5pm on December 31.
The incident happened on the Redergan Road outside the village.
Firefighters from Omagh, Clogher, Fintona and Pomeroy stations spent two hours bringing the fire under control.
The Northern Ireland Fire Service said the cause is believed to have been an accidental ignition.
