Diversions to be in place for Pride parade in Cookstown

LOCAL diversions will be in place in Cookstown, until this Saturday’s Mid Ulster Pride parade has concluded, the PSNI has said.

This year’s parade will be held in the town between 1pm and 2pm on Saturday afternoon (August 12).

The parade starts at Fairhill Road before making its way to Oldtown Street, then back to Fairhill Road to finish.

Motorists should allow additional time to complete their journeys safely.
