ACL Div 3B round-up: Tatts and Derrytresk still unbeaten

In ACL Division 3B Derrytresk and Tattyreagh both made it four wins from four when beating Clann na Gael and Brocagh respectively last weekend.

Clann na Gael were the visitors to Derrytresk in the game of the day in this division with the hosts triumphing on a 3-12 to 1-8 scoreline.

Derrytresk edged the opening half 0-6 to 0-5 with Liam Slater, Odhran Hughes, Robbie Conway and Shea Browne among the points for their respective sides. A Pat Campbell goal gave the winners some breathing space and the same player added another major while Slater converted a late penalty on his way to a personal haul of 1-6. Marc Henry got the visitors goal with Ciaran Kerlin and Gareth McDermott contributing points.

Tattyreagh were always in control of their game at the Loughshore with their ability to get goals ultimately proving to be the difference between the two sides at the final whistle.

Eoin McGrath led the way in the scoring stakes with 1-3 for the St.Patricks with Stephen Gervin, Ronan Collins and Ger McElholm bagging their other majors and Keelan McDonagh and Peadar Mullen notching a trio of points each. Cathal Donnelly (5), Mickey Hughes (3), Conan McDonnell (2) and Stephen Canavan were the marksmen for the Emmetts.

Brackaville made it three wins from four outings when they edged the verdict at home to Errigal Ciaran Thirds, 0-18 to 2-10 the final scoreline. Jason O’Neill and Dale McSorley both kicked 0-5 for the Roes with Ronan McHugh and Shea Fee weighing in with three each. Chris Kelly and Kevin Hughes raised green flags for the Dunmoyle based men with Darren Carson hitting four points and Caolan Tierney and Davy Harte getting a brace each.

Urney made it back-to-back wins when they proved too strong for Killyman on home soil. Conor McDaid and Ryan Henry got the goals for the St.Columbas with McDaid also weighing in with half a dozen points and Keith Nelis and Luke Kelly grabbing a trio apiece.

Eamon Donnelly got 1-2 for the visitors with Enda McGahan and Ryan McKenna also on target as it finished 2-16 to 1-6.
