THE A5 road has re-opened between Omagh and Newtownstewart following a ‘serious’ road crash yesterday.
The accident, which happened close to the entrance of the Ulster American Folk Park, caused extensive disruption for most of the day.
Last night’s events at a bluegrass festival at the folk park were called off as a result of the collision.
Police this morning said the road has now re-opened.
A PSNI spokesperson said more details about the crash would be released in ‘due course’.
