CHIP wrap… glorious chip wrap!

It’s official, folks: The Burger Hut, Campsie’s quirky ‘chip wrap’ has reached famous heights after featuring in a recent TikTok video which sizzled its way to almost two million views in just two weeks.

Indeed, customers are travelling to Omagh from Buncrana, Newtownabbey, Derry, and even Cavan to get their hands on the mouth-watering foodstuff, which is an original creation by business owner, Wendy O’Brien.

The delicious dish boasts a plethora of golden chips and cheese, filled with chicken goujons, beautiful bacon, and creamy curry sauce, all married together within a fresh, tasty wrap, making it the perfect dinnertime delight.

Speaking to the Ulster Herald, Wendy said that she was ecstatic that ‘The Burger Hut’ was ‘finally on the map’ – and joked that her friends are now calling her the ‘burger queen!”

“The chip wrap is awesome – I love it,” she beamed. “I’m so glad that it has become an internet sensation.

“All of my food creations are my own original ideas, so I am just delighted to reach customers far-and-wide.

“I started from nothing, and have worked my way up; putting my heart and soul into making things people will love,” Wendy, who took over the business four years ago, added. “I can’t wait to welcome you to The Burger Hut – whether you would like a chip wrap, an adventurous combo box… or both!”

Wendy concluded by thanking her all of her customers for their kindness and loyalty.

“Thank you for always coming back to us,” she said. “The messages on social media I receive are always so positive and polite. It is lovely to have people around who support you.”
