LEISURE facilities across the Fermanagh and Omagh district are being “cautiously” reopened with full provision from Monday, the local council has announced.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (FODC) says this will complete the phased return of all leisure services as Covid-19 restrictions have eased over the last number of months.
It will mean a return to changing with no restrictions, the reopening of health suite facilities, including steam rooms and saunas and increased capacity in classes.
While pre-booking will not be required for activities such as swimming and fitness suites, it is still necessary for fitness classes.
FODC chair, Errol Thompson, said he was pleased to confirm the final phase of reopening for the local authority’s leisure facilities, but urged visitors to exercise personal responsibility by continuing to take all mitigation’s to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
