Police seek information about severed internet connection cable

POLICE are appealing for information following two reports of criminal damage at the Tullyallen Road area of Dungannon recently.

The police believe that a internet connection cable was cut on two separate occasions the Tullyallen Road on January 24 and 26.

Sergeant Boyle said, “We received a report on Tuesday January 24 that around 9pm on Sunday January, 22 it was reported that an internet connection cable had been cut in the area. At around 6pm on Thursday January 26, it was reported that the same internet connection cable was again damaged.”

Police say that enquiries are continuing in relation to both incidents, which are both being linked at this time. Police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to both incidents, should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 2029 24/01/23.
