Through the doors of the charmingly eye-catching Georgian building on 1 McConnell Place is a chic, stylish and cosy bar that is now fully open seven-days-a-week. Melding comfortable, homely vibes with exceptional customer service, the bar also boasts exceptional prices – and the finest selection of craft beers, bottled beers and cocktails.

During the dark days of winter, where the bitter rains pour and the winds bite at your skin, The Copper Tap promises to warm you up with top quality entertainment every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

New artists will also feature regularly, ensuring that all local talent can be enjoyed.

And if that’s not all, customers will be pleased to note that the premium restaurant are also delighted to be open again for lunches from Thursdays-to-Sundays, beginning at 12pm, and sizzling ‘Sunday Roasts’ are now back on the menu.

Ensuring that food that is hearty, tasty and of the highest quality, dishes will be served in sumptuous style by award-winning sea food chef, Brian McMonagle. Hailing from Letterkenny, Chef McMonagle says he is ‘delighted and proud’ to curate the hearty meals, rich in fragrances and flavours, for all local palettes.

The Copper Tap owner, Mark O’Connor is looking forward to welcoming all customers. “In the premium setting of The Copper Tap, with its distinctive, chic interior design, customers can expect first-class service from friendly, happy and attentive staff,” he said. “Our bar is comfortable and welcoming, and promises festive cheer in a homely environment. “We have a fantastic selection of alcohol at highly affordable prices, and when preparing our meals, we only use locally-sourced produce to ensure the best, freshest, and healthiest experience for all customers.” Mr O’Connor has expressed his thanks to all customers who kindly supported the local business when they were open during the first few months of the pandemic.
