Unmissable’ nights of music with Nathan Carter, Wolfe Tones – and more

NATHAN Carter and The Wolfe Tones will headline two nights of live music this weekend in Derry.

The magnificent stage is set at the brand new Corrody Road outdoor venue on the city’s Waterside and a constellation of the country’s most-loved loved musical stars are set to perform under the beaming spotlights – so make sure to get your tickets now.

Promising two unmissable nights of open air entertainment and brilliant music, The Wolfe Tones will headline Friday’s concert, rocking, rolling and rebelling the bit out and they will be ably supported by the brilliant Planxty Folk and The Kelly’s Men.

The fun and fantastic tunes continue on Saturday (August 21), when Ireland’s number one country singer, Nathan Carter takes to the towering dome stage, supported by the much-loved Cliona Hagan and Lee Matthews.

Venue owners, Joe and Donna Jackson, say they “couldn’t be more excited” ahead of the musical extravaganza – especially as they have been meticulously planning the special occasion for more
than three years.

“The shows are going to be absolutely amazing,” Joe, who is from Omagh, said. “We have a tremendous line-up on both nights; with the Friday show offering something lively for the rock fans, while the Saturday show is all about keeping it country! The set-up, too, looks unreal, with the giant, towering stage and spotlights.
