Free creative spaces available for local artists

LIBRARIES NI is offering local artists, designers, and photographers a unique opportunity to use a ‘creative space’ in Omagh rent-free for a year.

To support local creativity within the community, Libraries NI is providing two spaces of over 12 square metres in the Omagh Regional Administration Centre, that can be used for artistic purposes, such as a workshop or studio, with no rent requirements and all utilities supplied free-of-charge.

Libraries NI said they are ‘keen to support the creative industry with free workshop space’, especially during this cost-of-living crisis.

The space can be accessed during Omagh Library opening hours, and if you are interested, you can contact the library to arrange an appointment to view it.

The space is available from May 2024.

Libraries NI has asked that interested parties respond as soon as possible by returning the application form to Patricia Curran, Area Manager, Omagh Library, Spillars Place, Omagh, BT78 1HL, or via email: Patricia.Curran @librariesni.org.uk.

The closing date for completed applications is Thursday, April 24, at 12pm.
