Gary wins prestigious country music award

IT’S time to tip our fedoras to singer Gary Quinn, who has picked up the highly-prestigious award of ‘UK Male Vocalist’ at the ‘British Country Music Awards’ for the third time in his career.

Stepping onto the glittering and unique west London stage of ‘Under the Bridge’, the Omagh singing star was presented with the awesome accolade in front of a full house of fellow fans of music and esteemed musicians.

On the night, audience members also enjoyed memorable performances from Jade Helliwell, Tim Prottey-Jones, and Essex County.

Speaking about the fantastic feat, Gary said that he was simply ‘delighted’ to ‘be in a room full of people all supporting the music and artists we love’.

“I’m incredibly humbled to be taking the award home when I consider the amount of extremely talented male artists releasing country music in the UK right now,” Gary said. “Winning ‘UK Male Vocalist’ for a third time means so much, and I’m so thankful to the BCMA, and all those that voted.”

It has been a busy, yet brilliant, year of releases for Gary. His hit singles, ‘Nobody Somebody’ and ‘Catch Me’ placed at #1 and #2 on the ‘UK Country Chart’ respectively, while he was also championed by Ty Bentli of ‘Ty Bentli Show’ on Apple Music.

The 40-year-old was further selected as Chris Country Radio’s ‘Single of the Week’ in the months of January and June, and to top it off, ‘Nobody Somebody’, also took pride of place on Spotify’s ‘Wild Country’ and Apple Music’s ‘Today’s Country’ curated playlists.

“I’m so grateful to everyone who continues to support my music,” Gary concluded.
