The event is being organised in partnership by Strabane Sure Start, Fountain Street Community Development Association, Lisnafin/Ardnalee/Trust Cross Community Development Association, Strabane Neighbourhood Health Improvement Project and Strabane and District Caring Services with support from the National Lottery Community Fund and the Kathleen Graham Trust.

The groups intend to involve up to 400 families across Strabane town and will provide picnic packs which will include a ‘make your own’ craft teddy bear kit/tea set/home baking kit/cupcakes, bubbles and many other goodies. The day will also involve mascots, music and giant teddy bears.

Limited to one pack per household,  although where there are more than four children in any household then they can register for two packs.
