The Bardic Theatre in Donaghmore kicks off its 40th anniversary celebrations with a very special ‘Cash Returns’ show this week.
Presented by JP Mac, whose baritone voice, tone and onstage mannerisms are scarily uncanny to the Man in Black himself, ‘Cash Returns’ has been hailed as the ‘greatest and most exciting’ Johnny Cash & June Carter Tribute in the UK and Ireland by fans and venue owners alike.
The show, which takes place this Saturday (March 5), even picked up ‘Best Tribute Band’ at the ‘Hot Country TV Awards’ and
‘Best Tribute Show’ at the 2020 ‘Northern Ireland Country Music Awards’.
Indeed, JP Mac has even been endorsed by Johnny Cash’s very own Tennessee based drummer of near 40 years, W.S. (Fluke) Holland. He described JP Mac’s performance of the beloved Johnny Cash as ‘quite amazing’.
Cash Returns has been playing in festivals, hotels and theatres throughout all of Ireland, UK, and Europe for the past seven years, while also having appeared on various radio slots and national TV appearances.
You can come along to hear all the classics from, ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ to ‘Ring of Fire’ and ‘Walk the Line’, right up to ‘Hurt’, and of course the smash duo hit, ‘Jackson’, among many others.
If you’re a real fan of the Man in Black, or just want a great night out, it promises to be a spectacular show!
