THE Cool Hand String Band are a lively, four-piece acoustic cover band from Omagh, specialising in up-tempo Bluegrass, Folk, Country and Pop.
The members of the group are Nevin Colton, Bronagh Broderick, Danny McCormack and Gary McAleer. They will be playing a concert at the Strule Art Centre on December 22, where they will be mixing up their usual set of Bluegrass covers with some Christmas classics to get everyone in the festive mood.

Sneak on a plane and fly away somewhere nice.

Avoiding practice like the plague.

Bluegrassifying (putting a bluegrass twist on modern song).

Touring the ‘Big Apple’ (New York).

When Bronagh broke her fiddle bow during a gig and didn’t have a spare.

Not getting parked close to the door for loading gear.
What is the most embarrassing thing you have done?
Buy us a drink and we’ll tell ye everything.

Our instruments.

Has to be a lovely cold pint of the ‘black stuff’ (Guinness).
