Covid-19: Walk-in vaccine clinic opens in Omagh

TO MAXIMISE access to the COVID-19 vaccine in Omagh and surrounding areas, the Western Trust will be hosting a walk-in clinic from July 5 to July 7,  at Omagh Leisure Centre.

The move come after an emergency testing site (South West College), aimed at offering scores of people quick tests for Covid-19, was set-up in Omagh last week.

Both measures appear to be a reaction to the detection of probable cases of the Delta variant locally.

The walk-in clinic will be open from 9am to 4pm for the three days, and is for over 18s only.

The clinic will take place for the first dose of PFIZER only.

Slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Please note there will be no walk-in facility for second doses.

The walk-in clinic will be open to anyone over 18 excluding those who are currently unwell with a high temperature, have had a first positive test
for COVID-19 in the last 28 days, have been advised to self-isolate, or had any other vaccine in the last 7 days.

For those who would prefer not to wait and would like an appointment time,  you can book at https://vaccinations.covid-19.hscni.net/booking or
call the regional booking line number: 0300 200 7813 from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
