MJ McIvor Solicitors, based at Omagh Business Complex in Gortrush have recently extended their office space.
The principal of the firm, Martin McIvor, told the UH, “We had been thinking for the last year or more that we could do with having extra office space and when the unit adjacent became available it suited our needs perfectly. We now have bespoke client consultation rooms which are on the ground floor and easily accessible with plentiful parking. When the Covid-19 pandemic came about we altered our plans slightly to create a large protector screen so that we can provide safety and comfort for all client meetings. We wanted to ensure that clients, particularly those from the elderly population or with other health conditions, can feel safe and secure in these unusual times”.

When asked about the local economy, Martin McIvor remains positive about the outlook for the future.
“Certainly the last few months has developed a number of challenges,” he said.
“However, I remain positive as to the future. During the lockdown we saw the property market come to a standstill however over the last number of weeks slowly but surely the various transactions that were paused during the lockdown have recommenced and we have seen a number of new transactions coming into the office as well which is encouraging.
“Going forward, as a community it is important that we all support local independent businesses in all parts of the economy.”
MJ McIvor Solicitors specialise in a number of areas including
house sales and purchases, site sales and purchases, personal injury, employment matters, Wills and Estates.
