POLICE in Omagh are appealing for information following a report that two cars were targeted overnight in Beragh.
The incident occured at the Meadows area of Beragh this morning (Monday).
At around 6am, it was reported that entry was gained to a Toyota Avensis which was parked in the area.
The vehicle was then found abandoned at a nearby roundabout.
It is not believed that anything was taken during the incident.
Sometime between 5:30am and 6:30am, entry was also gained to a Ford Focus which was also parked in the area.
It is believed that a laptop, glasses and a wallet taken from the vehicle.
Enquiries are continuing and police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 207 19/10/20.
