AN appeal has been launched to find the owner of two dogs found in Newtownstewart.
The cocker spaniels were picked up by a dog warden for Derry City and Strabane District Council yesterday in the village yesterday.
The council has released images of the dogs in a bid to find their owner.
The owner can claim the animals by contacting the dog control service on 028 71 253 253 or on 07734 128096 out of hours.
A council spokesperson said proof of ownership is required and added they do not deal with queries through social media.
