A GALA dinner is being held this November to celebrate the work of the Enda Dolan Foundation since it was formed a decade ago.
From a humble New Year’s challenge to run the Omagh Half Marathon, the Foundation has grown into a lifeline for hundreds, championing physical and mental health and raising awareness about road safety.
The gala will honour the legacy of Enda Dolan, who tragically lost his life at just 18 when a drunk driver struck him in 2014.
Since then, the Foundation and its signature Run for Enda event have touched countless lives across the region.
All funds raised from the night will be donated to two local charities, namely the Wave Trauma Centre and the Tara Centre.
The evening promises to be a memorable one, featuring a three-course dinner, live entertainment, raffles, guest speakers and heartfelt moments that reflect on the Foundation’s journey and vision for the future.
“Everyone is welcome – from long-time supporters to those wishing to learn more about the Foundation’s mission. It’s a chance for the community to come together, celebrate the progress made, and contribute to the ongoing work of the Foundation,” said Enda’s father, Peter Dolan.
Over the last ten years, the Enda Dolan Foundation and the Run for Enda has helped to improve the physical and mental health of many people in the Omagh area and beyond.
The gala ball will take place on Saturday, November 22 in the Silverbirch Hotel in Omagh.
Tickets are £50 and dress code is formal and black tie.
