MID Ulster Council have decided to close their parks and forests due to a yellow weather warning on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Met Office has given a yellow warning due to wind and snow in counties Derry, Antrim, Tyrone, and Fermanagh from 1pm Wednesday to 3pm Thursday.
Strong winds and rain on Wednesday will be followed by plummeting temperatures and snow showers on Wednesday night and throughout Thursday.
This is the third storm the county has had over the last several days, with some areas flooding over the weekend.
Fermanagh and Omagh Council announced on social media that some parts of Gortin Glen Forest Park are also closed. These parts include; the Park Trail walking trail, Sika Run and Rollercoaster mountain bike trails.
Mid Ulster Council said, “Due to a yellow weather warning between 1pm Wednesday to 3pm Thursday for wind and snow, we’ll be taking the precaution of closing our parks and forest sites on Wednesday 23 and Thursday February 24.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause at this time.”
