Omagh is a vibrant town which offers visitors and locals a great deal in terms of retail, hospitality and service experiences. Our traders have been at the coal face of major change for over a year but now is time to celebrate resilience and being back better than ever!
As a local business the Ulster Herald is proud to use our platform to promote and remind everyone of our local bustling business community. We are delighted to have teamed up with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and Omagh Chamber of Commerce to promote and recognise those that are providing employment, contributing to our economy and ensuring our high street stays alive.
Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council Cllr Errol Thompson said: “Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is delighted to support the Hello Omagh initiative. The Council is committed to working in partnership with all key stakeholders, including the business community, to aid the recovery and revitalisation of the town centre to ensure its long term sustainability and has already delivered a range of initiatives aimed at promoting confidence in our town centres as we emerge from the most challenging 18 months in living memory. “
We have been out and about visiting and talking to the huge range of businesses and look forward to featuring many in our Hello Omagh! in-paper and video activity. Both of these promotional tools aim to showcase Omagh as a destination town, as a fantastic place to work, rest and play!
Bronagh Gormley of Omagh Chamber of Commerce said: ”We are delighted to work with F&ODC and the Ulster Herald to promote Omagh as a great place to do business, to socialise and to live. I think it’s a fantastic opportunity for businesses to showcase all they have to offer and I am looking forward to seeing the feature in both the paper and on social media.”
Keep an eye on our social media and Ulster Herald for more information on the Hello Omagh initiative.
