POLICE are investigating the suspected illegal killing of a deer in the Drumquin area at the weekend.
The incident is believed to have occurred in the Claragh Road area sometime between Friday and Sunday.
A PSNI spokesperson said, “The remains of the animal were discovered in woodland in the area on Sunday morning (September 13) and will be taken for a post mortem examination in due course.”
The spokesperson added, “If you have seen any suspicious activity in the area or if you have any information which could assist with the investigation please call 101 and quote reference number 779 13/09/20.
