Recycling company to create 15 new jobs

A TYRONE-based recycling company has received £300,000 worth of investment which they say will be spent on expanding and creating 15 new jobs.

REP-TEC, located just outside Dungannon, designs and builds products including balers and conveyor systems. The loan was secured as part of Invest NI’s Access to Finance Initiative through Belfast-based firm Whiterock Finances.

Only founded in 2020, REP-TEC hads had a rapid expansion. In 2021, it built and installed the first robotic recycling system in Ireland.

This investment will be used so the company can improve on its overseas exporting.

A spokesperson for REP-TEC said, “The additional funding will allow us to deliver on our strategic growth plans; continue to invest in R&D and develop an industry leading range of automatic recycling equipment; appoint international dealers in selected markets and strengthen our team by adding talent in key roles.

“We are planning on doubling our turnover and adding 15 people to the business through 2023.”
