The Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh has been forced to shut today (Saturday, February 12) due to a ‘small’ fire in the reception building.
Management at the park are hoping it will re-open with normal service resumed again tomorrow morning.
An apology for any inconvenience caused was issued on the Folk Park’s social media sites with an assurance that all pre-booked tickets for today will be refunded.
The incident described as “a small fire in a single location at the reception building” occurred last night (Friday).
The decision to close the park today to the public was made following a protocol and safety procedure.
The public are advised to check the website and Twitter for further updates before their visit tomorrow.
