A DECISION by the Stormont Executive earlier to further ease coronavirus restrictions is set to have important benefits for Tyrone.
The politicians are now permitting live music, opening the door for venues and pubs to once again hire local bands.
In addition, the restriction on 500 supporters at sporting events has also been eased.
This could mean that there will be upwards on 5000 at Tyrone’s Ulster Championship clash against Cavan in a few weeks time.
As first reported in the UlsterHerald last month, there are plans to allow socially-distanced fans into the venue which has a capacity of almost 20,000.
The Executive is also now permitting five people, up from three, to meet in private gardens. But the limit on 15 people meeting up remains in place.
