Goals galore as Ulster Final beckons Tyrone Minors

A FEAST of goals saw the Tyrone Minors cruise to the Ulster Final following a massive win over Fermanagh.

Ronan Cassidy fired home two in the first half before Paddy McCann, Eoin McElholm, Shea O’Hare and Noah Grimes added further goals in the second half to leave them winners on a score of 6-21 to 1-6.

It was one of the biggest wins ever for the county at this level, and the basis for their success was laid during a tremendous second quarter.

They actually trailed for a spell midway through the first half, but responded in magnificent fashion. By half-time they led by 2-10 to 1-3 and the issue was by then decided.

The scores just kept on rolling on the resumption. But a spectacular three minute spell saw them grab three more goals.

Fermanagh did manage a couple of points near the finish, although it of course made no difference.

Tyrone now progress to meet Donegal in the provincial decider next weekend. Suffice to say that clash will be infinitely tougher than what they experienced in their semi-final win.
